The Approved Document E 2003 Edition – Resistance to the passage of sound, introduced standards for reverberation in flats and rooms for residential purposes. By adopting the Rockfon ceiling or wall absorption solutions you can meet the required ADE standards for reverberation. No pre-completion site testing required.
Rooms with many hard surfaces may result in disturbing ‘echo’ which must be avoided. A reverberation time below 0.6 seconds is desirable, even in a quiet environment.
