Job title: Area Manager – North London & home counties(covering North Greater London, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk).
Location: Field-based (please note that driving, for sometimes long distances, is an essential requirement of this role).

Role overview: The role holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining Rockpanel sales in the region, in line with the business strategy. Reporting to the UK Business Director, you will join a successful and dynamic team who have already established Rockpanel as a strong product in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop the Rockpanel business within the relevant geographical area, building on existing relationships and developing new with Specifiers, Contractors & Distributors in order to deliver budgeted sales targets.
- To offer specific support to Architects and specifiers by providing CPD seminars in order to promote the Rockpanel product and increase brand awareness in the UK market.
- To realise volume and invoice sales against the area budget.
- To effectively communicate & work with key colleagues within the wider business in order to ensure all sales opportunities are identified.
- To research and exploit all opportunities in order to maximise sales and grow market share.
- To ensure all activities support team/company objectives.
- To ensure detailed and up to date records are held on the internal CRM system.
- To generate commercial and professional respect in line with company values
Skills, experience and qualifications:
- Successful candidates will have experience of selling to the same customer base within the construction industry.
- Being both goal orientated and commercially astute, you will have a strong track record of delivering profitable sales growth.
- You will have excellent communication skills & the ability to develop and sustain meaningful commercial relationships with architects, contractors and distributors in your region.
- You will be able to engage and influence people across both internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Structured and highly organised in your approach, you will have experience of developing and implementing action plans for your region that support the companies strategic objectives and deliver tangible results.
- You will be capable of generating new ideas through your entrepreneurial and creative approach to business development.
- You will have excellent presentation skills and experience of delivering CPD presentations.
- You will be highly IT literate and have previous experience with CRM systems.
