Building heating balance

Maximising energy conservation is a critical factor in achieving a comfortable student learning environment. There are many new technologies, materials and techniques that can be employed to create a low energy building and one of the most cost-effective is thermal insulation.

Rockwool has developed a range of high-performing systems for low energy buildings, including high-performing systems without thermal bridges for façade and roof insulation and for air-tight building constructions.

You can never insulate too much. But you can be assured of a poor indoor climate if you use too little insulation, install it incorrectly or fail to ensure sufficient air exchange.

Built to last

Rockwool insulation will last as long as the school – but in only a few months will save more energy and CO2 than is generated by its entire production, transport and disposal
