Installation and performance
Using products that are easy and cost effective to install and will perform as intended over the lifetime of the building can reduce the risk to clients, specifiers and contractors alike. Product substitution for inferior alternatives becomes less likely and the opportunity for incorrect installation is also lessened.
- Rockwool insulation is dimensionally stable so will not warp or slump over its lifetime (which affects thermal performance).
- tough enough to resist damage and soft enough to cut on site
- flexible enough to enable a perfect fit so that stated acoustic and thermal benefits are realised in-situ
- our Rockroller trolley system assists in transporting our roofboards across the roof minimising handling and increasing speed of installation
- our insulation is non-hygroscopic meaning it does not absorb and maintain moisture from the air that could compromise the integrity of the building envelope.
- we offer intumescent acoustic seals which provide a quick and easy way to seal joints and service penetrations in fire walls improving both fire and acoustic performance.
