Rockwool ablative coated batt, a high-density stone-wool batt sprayed with an ablative coating, is specifically designed to fire-stop service penetrations in compartment walls and floors.
The ablative coated batt is the only fire-stopping batt manufactured using a fully automated process, meaning both stone-wool and coating are produced to a uniform standard.
Rockwool ablative coated Batt has been tested to prEN 1366-3 and is capable of providing fire resistance periods of 4 hours integrity and 2 hours insulation.
A full range of intumescent sealants, wraps and collars is available to ensure a complete solution for sealing service penetrations.
