RockPrime blown loft insulation
RockPrime is a mechanically installed Rockwool blown loft granulate that offers quicker installation than roll and causes minimum disturbance. Unlike other loft insulation products, it also minimises thermal bridging.
Like blown cavity wall insulation, RockPrime is an insulation that is installed using a machine which pumps the material up to the loft. A bag of RockPrime insulation is put into a machine located outside of the house and blown through the hose into the loft. RockPrime blown loft is compatible with other insulation types and can also be used in top-up situations.
RockPrime offers quick effective installation with minimum disturbance to the buildings occupiers. Ancillary components such as loft hatch surrounds and depth gauges provide you with the peace of mind that the material will do what it is meant to do.
Unlike traditional roll insulation RockPrime blown loft requires no heavy lifting, cutting or manual fitting – it is therefore unlikely that the loft hatch would need to be enlarged to enable the contractor through to install the insulation.
