Improved thermal and moisture performance of roofs
Pitched roofs offer an opportunity for the efficient use of large spaces and can be used to create attractive living spaces. The latest building regulations require increased thermal efficiency. The design and construction of pitched roofs must achieve high insulation levels with fewer thermal bridging problems at eaves, ridge and around dormer windows. |

Cold Pitched roof
Rockwool solutions are also fitted at ceiling level to create a cold roof space. This is a low cost option for insulating a roof area. There are two systems for insulating at ceiling level; either Rockwool Roll or Blown Loft insulation.
Warm Pitched Roof
Rockwool solutions offer the possibility of energy efficient loft conversions in houses and the successful performance of warm pitched roofs with high levels of thermal insulation. With the benefit of acoustic insulation, in order to achieve the optimum design of warm pitched roofs (insulated between & over rafters level) Rockwool Rockfall systems are the ideal solution.
Flat roof
Rockwool roofing boards can be installed on a deck above the joists and be covered by the waterproof membrane. The insulation and vapour control layer are placed above the roof decking thereby almost eliminating the occurrence of condensation and providing high thermal performance.
