Walls

External Walls

Masonry Cavity Walls

Masonry cavity walls are the popular method of external wall constructions. Rockwool insulation can offer cost effective and flexible thermal performance solutions.

There are three methods for insulating cavity walls:

. Full Fill Built-in
. Full Fill blown fibre for empty cavity walls
. Partial Fill Built-in

Timber Frame Cavity Walls

Insulating timber frame cavity walls can provide better thermal performance than masonry walls. Timber frame can also be provided pre-fabricated off site by a manufacturer simplifying the building process.

Rockwool insulation installed between studs will result great energy savings and environmentally friendly buildings.

Solid Walls

In existing buildings, solid walls don’t usually offer a satisfactory thermal performance. Placing insulation lining on the inside of a solid wall is an effective method for increasing the energy efficiency of the building.

Internal Walls

Partition Walls

Rockwool solutions are designed to combine optimum acoustic and fire performance with easy fitting. They offer high quality insulation improving acoustic performance of timber and metal stud partitions.

Separating Walls

With the largest cause of complaints about modern living being noise pollution through walls and floors from our neighbours, it is no surprise that Part E of the Building Regulations is becoming more onerous.

Improved acoustic performance in separating walls must be achieved to meet the new building requirements. Rockwool created best solutions to achieve and improve upon the statutory requirements for acoustic insulation.
