Partition Walls – Timber stud
After erecting the timber frame Rockwool Flexi is to be installed to a tight fit between the studs and cut to close fit above and below horizontal noggings as necessary. The flexible long edge of the slab allows for the 600 mm wide product to be flexed into the 562mm space between 38 mm wide timber studs. Where studs are spaced spaced at 400 mm centres, 1200 mm x 400 mm wide Rockwool Flexi should be used. A single layer of plasterboard with a minimum mass of 11kg/m2 is fixed to both sides of the studs. |
