Fire Stopping - Compartment Floors– Services and Cables  
 
The Ablative  Coated Batts are simply cut and friction fitted between the services and the edges of the structure. They are used in conjonction with;

. Acoustic Intumescent Sealant
. Firepro Ablative Liquid

Cut and friction fit coated batt between services and floorl, buttering the edges of the slab with the fire rated coating - use as an adhesive. Fill any joints or holes in the barrier with the coating or the Acoustic intumescent sealant. PVC services must be protected with collars or multi-cable firestop as appropriate.

In floor applications, Ablative coated batt has to be protected from physical damage by foot traffic.
