ROCKWOOL at ecobuild 2018

Now more than ever, the focus on non-combustible solutions is at the forefront of the building industry. ROCKWOOL will be making its debut at ecobuild 2018 with its range of non-combustible stone wool solutions for fire protection and fire stopping, rainscreen, flat roofing and sound insulation applications.

On show…

Divided into four areas on stand D60, the ROCKWOOL stand will feature samples of its ventilated façade systems, such as, RAINSCREEN DUO SLAB® and ROCKPANEL FS-Xtra cladding panels, its popular Sound & Thermal range, as well as HVAC, fire protection and fire stopping insulation products. To educate visitors on the manufacturing process of stone wool insulation, ROCKWOOL will show the ROCK transformation process, demonstrating its journey through the stages into stone wool insulation. ROCKWOOL provides a number of helpful online tools and will be showcasing these via an interactive technology work station - including the U-Value Calculator, SAP Sensitivity Tool and Acoustic and Fire Calculation Tools.

Industry experts from both ROCKWOOL and Rockpanel will be on hand to offer insight and practical advice, as well as sharing key facts and information for building specifiers, designers and contractors.


Express Technical Sessions

Over the course of the three days, on the hour, every hour, ROCKWOOL team will be presenting a range of ‘Express Technical Sessions’ for ecobuild visitors. Taking place on the stand, the ROCKWOOL and Rockpanel experts will be discussing key industry topics, including ‘Flat Roofing & Acoustics’, ‘Limited Combustibility’, ‘Fire performance of Rainscreen’ and ‘Compartmentalisation’. The big reveal…

In conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) ROCKWOOL and Rockpanel are the exclusive sponsors of the RIBA Bookshop and lounge architectural competition at ecobuild 2018.

Recently announced as the winner, Freehaus, the creative design studio based in London will have its winning design of the bookshop and lounge revealed during the show.
