- Terms and Conditions
By entering this prize draw entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledge that failure to comply with them may result in disqualification.
- The Promoter
The promoter is: ROCKWOOL Limited (company number 00972252 – registered in England and Wales) whose registered office is at Wern Tarw, Pencoed, Bridgend, CF35 6NY.
- How to enter
3.1 The title of the prize draw is Christmas Virtual Stand December 2020.
3.2 The competition will run from 12pm on 15th December 2020 (the "Opening Date") to 11:59pm (midnight) on 3rd January 2021 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.3 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter via the contact form in the ROCKWOOL Virtual Stand by no later than 11:59pm (midnight) on the Closing Date. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.4 To be entered into our free prize draw you must correctly complete the phrase by finding letters hidden around the virtual stand, submitting the phrase via the content form by the Closing Date.
3.5 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the competition.
3.6 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
- Eligibility
4.1 The prize draw is only open to residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) photocopies and not originals; or
(e) incomplete.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry to the prize draw. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
- The prize
5.1 The prize draw entries will be operated and drawn by Technical Marketing & PR (company number 07653407 – registered in England and Wales), whose registered office is at 2nd Floor 7 Herbert Terrace, Penarth, Wales, CF64 2AH nominated by the Promoter.
5.2 The prize is a Beats by Dre Studio 3 Wireless Headphones Decade Edition worth £189.95 and there are three to be won.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.
- The prize may incur a tax liability for which the winner will be responsible.
- Winners
6.1 The winner of the prize draw will be selected at random from a valid entry received during the promotional period by Technical Marketing & PR who have been nominated by the Promoter by no later than 23:59 on 15th January 2021.
6.2 The decision of Technical Marketing & PR who has been nominated by the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.3 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the winner has been selected, using the email address provided with the prize draw entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the prize draw entry form has been submitted.
6.4 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the social media handle of major prize winners and, if applicable, their winning entries on all ROCKWOOL social media channels after the closing date.
6.5 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter ROCKWOOL at marketcom@rockwool.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- Claiming the prize
7.1 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.2 Please allow 28 days for delivery of the prize. The winner is required to sign to acknowledge receipt.
7.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take up the prize.
- The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf.
- Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Data protection and publicity
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Statement
- General
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
