Acoustic Infills

Sound-absorbing trough fillers for perforated steel decks.

The underside of an exposed profiled deck is acoustically reflective, which serves to increase reverberant noise in the space below, making for a noisy and echoey acoustic environment. The solution is to install ROCKWOOL Acoustic Infills into the troughs of a perforated deck. This tissue-faced product acts to absorb incident sound, reducing noise build-up, which lowers the reverberation time and creates a quieter acoustic environment.
